Hannah Bilgri

Hannah chait bilgri is an interior designer based in charleston, south carolina. Before starting her own firm, she had the privilege of cutting her teeth at AD100 firm Michael S. Smith, followed by luxe gold list firm foley & cox interiors, while living in new york city. During those years she worked on residential design projects across manhattan, east hampton and southampton, greenwich, los Angeles, Palm beach and washington D.c. those experiences shaped the way she thinks about design - how architecture, art and a sense of place come together to create spaces that feel both elevated and lived-in.

After moving to the Lowcountry in 2021, hannah spent the last five years working with a local charleston design firm, deepening her connection to the region and its architectural traditions. hannah’s mother was born and raised in charleston and her love for the culture, history, and quiet beauty of the lowcountry runs deep. it’s a place that continually inspires the way she designs - thoughtful, layered and rooted in context.

Hannah’s design philosophy is heavily influenced by travel, a lifelong love of art and history, and her family’s creative lineage. her grandmother is a storied artist whose work was shown in galleries in both new york and palm beach, and she credits her with sparking her own artistic instincts. hannah continues to paint and create in her personal time and that artistic practice informs how she approaches composition, color and storytelling within her interiors.

Hannah now resides on johns island with her husband nick - an established local architect - and their dogs frankie and billie. hannah’s parents reside on kiawah island, where the couple have deep roots and spend much of their time, drawn to the landscape, light and coastal rhythm that so often find their way into hannah’s work. after nearly a decade In the interior design industry, she is pleased to formally introduce the world to hannah bilgri interiors.
